The auditorium of VNIT was beaming with a superlative confluence of rocking music and a shimmering laser light show, which stole the show on the second day of Axis 08. It was a spectacular sight to see life-size animated light figures 'dancing to the tunes' of the music, as the audience was left awestruck. Revealing details of the show, second year student Aarohi Deshpande, said excitedly, "This is first ever laser show held in Central India, so it was the main attraction of our tech fest.
The fact that hundreds of students swarmed the auditorium to get a glimpse of the show was proof enough that the show proved to be a hit among the crowd.
Nikita Parihar, who came from Raipur NIT with her friends Bhoomika, Surabhi, Shefali and Deepali, said, "This is the first time we are visiting Nagpur and it was fun to participate in this tech fest. And we absolutely loved the laser show. Though I must admit that we were expecting more students. But, we came to know that many colleges have their exams during this time of the year and hence they were absent.Earlier in the day, we saw the engineering students vrooming past on bikes with Axis tees. When asked, one of the students Prerana Nathaney said, "They are not just roaming around aimlessly. These students are exercising their marketing skills and convincing people to buy the T-shirts."
